Doina Falcon is a Canadian artist living in Montreal. Her art is spontaneous, reflecting an interior world bursting of energy, either a reflection of the outside world in herself, or a complete explosion of the imagination. Her creative process is an ongoing journey; an inspiring moment: images mixed with impressions of movements, transitions, journeys; landscapes, trees and flowers, cities, imbued with colors, lights and shadows, perfumes and music; allegorical representations of philosophical ideas that make her meditate, or of characters (imaginary or real) who have imprinted their marks on her.
To Doina, the painting process is an act of creation, a happy experience. It is a meditation, a process of total concentration. She likes to work with palette knives using successive layers of paint, various textures through the use of materials like modeling paste, silk paper, sand, elements of nature like leaves or ossified algae, recyclable materials, superimposing them with color strokes, being guided by a spontaneous gesture and experience. She paints in acrylic, oil and watercolor.
Doina's desire is to bring the viewers to enjoy the present moment through her art.

- an Honorable Mention for her painting "Family of Three" in the juried competition of "Quebec Artists Circle of Painters and Sculptors," in April 2023
- a Silver Medal for her painting "The Vision of Desire" in the juried competition of "Quebec Artists Circle of Painters and Sculptors," in April 2024.
- a Golden Medal for her painting "Les jardins de l'Eden-1" in the in the juried competition of "Quebec Artists Circle of Painters and Sculptors," in May 2025.
